Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz: Dormitory department reports full occupancy
With a great deal of commitment, creative crisis management and new ideas, almost all of the Studentenwerk's dormitories have now been occupied. "Both the temporary easing of the allocation guidelines and the extension of existing tenancy agreements of students beyond the usual period have significantly improved the situation for us", explains the provisional head of the Housing Department - Tobias Krause - the successes of the last few weeks. "Even now - before the semester has even started - we already have more applicants than available rooms. All parts of the Studentenwerk have pulled together and reacted very professionally to the changed situation".
The future projects, such as the new building in Paul-von-Denis-Straße or the project with ALDI in Annweilerstraße must of course be examined very carefully until we see more clearly how things will proceed in the near future. As a result of the positive development in the area of student housing, the Studierendenwerk is reopening its digital private accommodation service to all providers of student housing.
"We look positively into the future and look forward to more life on campus in the winter semester"...
