Artificial intelligence reduces the amount of garbage in the dining hall

Landau - For one and a half years, the Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz has been using the artificial intelligence of delicious data in its merchandise management system at the Landau and Ludwigshafen sites - the result of the AI: 38 percent less food waste due to the avoidance of no longer usable overproduction. While 74 meals per day had to be thrown away on average in the same period of 2018, only 46 were thrown away in the same period of 2019.
